So recently (recently meaning a while ago, but for relevancy I’m saying recently) I started listening to The Magnetic Fields, and the stuff I’ve listened has really grown on me. And for a while, I’ve been wanting to listen to one of their albums called 69 Love Songs, an album that was originally supposed to consist of 100 songs about love, until writer Stephen Merritt realized that was way too many and instead decided on being immature and giving himself about a third less work. The album is about three hours, so I think it would be super fun for me spend the next few posts listening to the album in chunks and writing about it. I’m actually very excited to start this, so hopefully I don’t give up halfway through.
Eagerly,
Oswaldo.
