3 movies

these are three of the best movies to exist (a film major would agree, i bet)

big hero six: this movie was released in 2014 but i’m not sure why i thought i wouldn’t like it so i didn’t ever plan on watching it. six years later the four of us went to ruby’s house and oswaldo suggested this movie. we all agreed since neither gwen, ruby, nor i had seen it. i again (foolishly) believed this was going to be a movie that i neither liked nor disliked but could simply say i had seen. i could not have been more wrong about this. this movie is beautifully done. it made us cry and feel happy. its about this kid hiro and baymax- the cutest robot created.

good boys: the first three times i watched this movie were with my eleven year old nephew. he was staying with us for a week and we would watch a movie before going to bed. on the second night, he said he wanted to watch good boys. it was not on netflix or hulu so he looked it up on a website that eventually gave my brother’s computer a virus. i assumed it was going to be a disney channel movie or something similar- it’s nothing like that. it’s full of middle school jokes and foolishness. my brother and i were surprised we liked it as much as we did. afterwards i got four friends to watch it with me because i insisted this movie was so good they’d love it. and they did.

three idiots: freshman year, oswaldo told us someone did a screening of this movie every year and thought we should watch it. he warned us though, that it was three hours long but in his humble opinion, was completely worth the time. i remember i was hesitant because if the movie sucked it would suck for three whole hours (which honestly isn’t bad because watching terrible movies can be fun). worse, though, was if it was an okay movie that was merely okay for three hours. i also remember oswaldo telling us that this movie had you laughing one minute and then sobbing the next, which sounded fake. but i love my friends and more than that i love spending time with them so we went to the science center together to see this movie. its everything a movie could be and more. its about friendship and i think i watched this with some of the best friends i could imagine.
